Getting here from the airport

  • Hotel transfer service: Kamezí Boutique Villas offers a private transfer service from the airport, which can be arranged in advance by contacting the hotel.
  • Taxi: A taxi from the airport to the villas takes around 32 minutes, with fares ranging from €65 to €85.
  • Car hire: The villas are approximately 37 km from the airport, with a drive time of about 32 minutes. Hiring a car is a convenient option if you'd like to explore the island during your stay.
  • Bus: There is no direct bus service to the villas. However, you can take Line 161 to Playa Blanca, then transfer to Line 30. The total journey takes around 1 hour and 41 minutes and costs between €4 and €7.

How to get to ...

Timanfaya National Park

  • Distance: Approximately 20 km.
  • By car: Take the LZ-2 road north, then follow LZ-67 west. The journey takes around 25 minutes.
  • Public transport: There are no direct buses from Playa Blanca to the park. Renting a car or booking an organised tour is recommended.

Jameos del Agua

  • Distance: Approximately 70 km.
  • By car: Drive north on LZ-2, then take LZ-3, followed by LZ-1 heading northeast. The journey takes around 1 hour.
  • Public transport: From Playa Blanca, take a bus to Arrecife, then transfer to another bus heading north. However, public transport options are limited and may be less convenient.

Fundación César Manrique

  • Distance: Approximately 50 km.
  • By car: Drive north on LZ-2, then take LZ-3, followed by LZ-34 towards Tahíche. The journey takes around 45 minutes.
  • Public transport: Take a bus to Arrecife, then transfer to another bus to Tahíche. Services may be limited.

Playas de Papagayo

  • Distance: Approximately 10 km.
  • By car: Drive east along the coastal road. The final stretch is a dirt track; so a suitable vehicle is recommended. The journey takes around 20 minutes.
  • Public transport: There are no direct bus services. The best options are to take a taxi or rent a car.

Cueva de los Verdes

  • Distance: Approximately 70 km.
  • By car: The route is similar to the one to Jameos del Agua, as they are close to each other. The journey takes around 1 hour.
  • Public transport: Limited and less convenient. Renting a car or booking an organised tour is recommended.

Jardín de Cactus

  • Distance: Approximately 60 km.
  • By car: Drive north on LZ-2, then take LZ-3, followed by LZ-1 heading northeast to Guatiza. The journey takes around 50 minutes.
  • Public transport: Buses run from Arrecife to Guatiza, but schedules may be limited.

Playa de Famara

  • Distance: Approximately 60 km from Kamezí Boutique Villas.
  • By car: Take LZ-2 north, then LZ-3 towards Arrecife, followed by LZ-20 towards Teguise, and finally LZ-30 and LZ-402, which lead directly to Famara. The journey takes around 50 minutes.
  • Public transport: From Playa Blanca, you can take a bus to Arrecife and then transfer to another bus to Caleta de Famara. However, the journey is long, and connection times may be limited.
